LET’S MAKE DRAPER PARK A SIGHT TO SEE WITH AMERICAN FLAGS HONORING OUR VETERANS AND SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN!

field-of-flags-flyer-graphicWe are continuing to accept order forms to sponsor a US flag in honor of our veterans for the Draper Memorial Park Field of Flags!

Each 3′ x 5′ American flag will stand tall on a 10′ staff around the perimeter of Draper Memorial Park, as well as within the grassy ellipse. Each flag will include a yellow recognition ribbon with an attached card naming the person being honored, military branch, years of service, and sponsor’s name.

The deadline to sponsor a flag for the veteran or active serviceman or woman you are honoring is October 31st. Don’t have an individual in mind? Why not sponsor a flag in honor of ALL those who have served!

Perspective Views of the Proposed Robsham Village Apartment Complex

Perspective Views of the Proposed Robsham Village Apartment Complex

At our September 21, 2016 quarterly public meeting, Citizens for Milford invited residents to attend and participate in a discussion aimed at understanding the Chapter 40B law; how state officials, a host community, and a developer work together throughout the process; and the potential positive and negative impacts a 40B development might have on our community.

Citizens for Milford invited the residents attending the meeting to share their concerns and questions, which we then forwarded to Town Counsel Gerald Moody for a response. We extend our sincerest appreciation to Attorney Moody for his thorough and insightful explanations, which he provided in a timely manner. His answers to Milford residents’ questions are provided on the Chapter 40B Housing page on our website here.
