You Are Invited to Visit the Draper Memorial Park Field of Flags

flag-with-ribbon-and-cardThe Draper Memorial Park Field of Flags has been installed, and each of the flags has a yellow remembrance ribbon and honoree name card attached. We invite you to walk through the flags and ponder the selfless service of veterans known and loved by local residents! It truly is a sight to see!

And please plan to join us as we honor our nation’s veterans at the VETERANS DAY PARADE in Milford this Friday morning. The parade starts at 10:00 a.m. and marches from the Stop & Shop plaza, west on Main St., all the way to Draper Park. At the conclusion of the parade, the FIELD OF FLAGS DEDICATION CEREMONY will take place at approximately 11:00 a.m.

We placed 100 flags in Draper Park on Monday and added the yellow remembrance ribbons and honoree name cards Tuesday.

Citizens for Milford also placed two flags at the Court House Memorial.
